-- Texture Paths -- Back to tutorial index
Overview: In cinema there is a default texture path. ROOT > TEX. This is so cinema knows where to look for images. You can add up to 10 texture paths, so cinema knows where to look.

STEP 1: First, press Ctrl+E, then towards the bottom you'll see "Texture Paths" Now you will see 10 "Path" buttons, click one and then browse to the directory with the pictures, now you can have more than one texture folder...this saves time draggig and dropping files to the TEX folder.

Here's an example: I have a Sony digital camera. When I transfer my images, it goes to DRIVE:\Sony\DSC\images go here. So i can set that folder as a texture path and any image i take, i can use without having to transfer to my TEX folder. I have also done this with my documents folder, cause i have a lot of misc image in there.
